In this episode, we’re joined by Stacy Langwick, a cultural and medical anthropologist at Cornell University who focuses on healing and medicine in East Africa. We talk to Stacey about her 2011 book, Bodies, Politics, and African Healing: The Matter of Maladies in Tanzania, as well as more recent work that takes up issues of toxicity, therapeutics, dispossession, and plants, and healing.
